We are thrilled to launch the PEER PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE SERIES, a new pilot initiative designed exclusively for Alternator Members. This series aims to create vital opportunities for you to develop professional practice skills essential for career growth, and it's offered exclusively and completely free to all current Alternator members!
We're kicking off this exciting initiative with the Artist's Statement Workshop, a focused 3-session series. This program is run collaboratively by Alternator staff, board members, and community volunteers, allowing us to harness the breadth of experience and expertise within our community and foster peer learning. This structure is designed so you gain not only concrete skills but also a dedicated space to network with fellow members and cultivate a culture of mutual support and collaborative growth, directly advancing your artistic career.
Workshop Details: Artist's Statement Workshop
The Artist's Statement is a critical tool for every working artist. This limited-capacity workshop is well-suited to artists at any stage of their career, whether you are looking to refine your current artist statement or are drafting one from scratch. Join us to craft a powerful, authentic statement that clearly articulates your unique creative practice.
Cost: FREE for current Alternator Members
Commitment: We require all participants to commit to attending all three sessions to help us develop a strong culture of mutual support and camaraderie.
