Dara Khakpour’s practice is focused on cultural and social documentary. He uses photography as a tool to study a variety of circumstances and everyday environments that people live in.
This series of work was captured over numerous trips throughout different locations in Iran and bordering regions with southern Pakistan made by Khakpour, and reflect his Iranian nationality. The photographs were taken in a variety of urban and rural environments and capture subjects in their everyday living situations.
