I am young and early in my artistic career, and I am still figuring out who I want to be as an artist. Since moving to Kelowna and being surrounded by other artists, my eyes have been opened to so many possibilities. I make art to bring myself joy and quiet my mind. To me, a successful piece means that it makes me happy and hopefully others as well; the world needs more joy right now.

I am currently completing my BFA at UBC Okanagan and the gallery has been closely linked to my school work, and the gallery's focus on supporting emerging artists is something that I value deeply.
