Miranda Koetsch // Parallel Perspectives

"Parallel Perspectives" blurs the line between natural and nonsensical; between exposure and collage, and between analog and digital. The viewer must question; what truly exists? And, how did this come to be? Perhaps, there is more similarity than difference. While employing this quizzical examination of the work, the viewer must also consider relationships within the subject matter. Just as the blending and bending of material and methodology results in layered, multi-dimensional images, changing the way we view this land shapes our collective relationship and enjoyment. When lines between tradition and modernity are blurred, confusion can result, but a fresh perspective may open the window to a new world.
