This mixed media work titled All Your Silent Wants is a very personal exploration on the human condition of fatherhood, and what it is to have your heart walk outside your body. Abstraction and representation are used here to tell the story of the common human hopes for the next generation - to ensure their safety and security and protect the magic and joy that define our children. The piece itself tells the story through the lens of a Chinese immigrant father, but with the hope that it connects empathy with the viewer through its shared experience of the human condition.
