The Alternator Centre for Contemporary Art is thrilled to announce its 5th annual Postcard Project and Studio Sale, a vibrant exhibition celebrating the creativity of the Okanagan arts community. The exhibition kicked off with an opening reception on July 17, 2026, and runs until August 15, 2026. Member artists have created an edition of unique handmade postcards and submitted artworks to be sold for the Studio sale. This dynamic exhibition reflects the diverse voices and mediums that make our artistic community so unique. It’s a chance to engage with the energy of Kelowna's art scene and support the artists who bring it to life.

Through the Years is an archival exhibition celebrating 37 years of the Alternator Centre for Contemporary Art. Curated by Alternator staff and board members, the exhibition brings together a collection of postcards from past exhibitions, carefully selected from the gallery's archives. These small but significant pieces trace the evolution of the Alternator from 1998-2026, highlighting decades of exhibitions, artists, and community connections, while celebrating the organization's enduring impact on the Okanagan's contemporary arts scene.
