Lest We Forget is a collection of 20” × 20” textile works by members of Peachland’s Pincushion Quilt Guild.
Grounded in a shared palette of eight hand-dyed fabrics, each piece offers a reflection on the symbol of the poppy and its enduring significance. Guild members use a variety of techniques like piecing, appliqué, embroidery, and painting, highlighting both the versatility of textiles and their unique perspectives on the poppy.
Established in 2005 by a small group of passionate stitchers, the Pincushion Quilt Guild has grown to 40 active members from across the Central Okanagan. Today, this vibrant group meets weekly at the Peachland Community Centre to share their love of quilting.
